On tap. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of pepper, melon rind, licorice, light fruits. Flavor of perfume, spices, light fruits, bready malt, and a sweet, spicy finish. Very perfumy, spicy, and a touch fruity. Interesting and pretty good. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2013 Jolie blanche nuageuse, reflets orangés.

Bottle from Phil, thanks! Hazy golden with a pillowing foamy head that does relax relatively quickly. Aroma is quite heavy of spice - coriander, pepper, nutmeg(?)... very pungent. Taste is pretty strong on yeast and spice, with quite a nice balance. A pretty interesting and refreshing saison.

[4612-20120708] 341mL bottle. Fresh pepper cleaner wheat aroma. Slightly hazy, light tan yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Fresh bitter fruity hops flavour has a strange white wine tartness up front and some yeasty grape pineapple. Medium body. Strange but deliciously fresh and vibrant. (7/3/7/4/15) 3.6

On tap at Brouhaha. The color is a hazy blond with a very thin off white head. The aroma very pleasing to the nose is of pepper, hops and a good mix of different kinds of herbs. The taste also very pleasing with the herbs some sweetness, pepper, yeast. Avery good saison.

On tap at Brouhaha, pours a hazy golden / blonde with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander and other Belgian spices. Flavour is dominated by spices: coriander, oregano and some pepper; with some mild yeast notes. Very, very spice dominated, including the pepper. Decent.

Bottle 341ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].

Unclear medium yellow colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruity, moderate to heavy white pepper. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, white pepper, saison fruity yeast, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO quit nice - fun, but not easy to drink. [20120422]

Thanks to an IP trade with Patrick in Montreal for this one! Poured into a tulip glass (Mar ’12) to a light golden colour with a small white head that doesn’t stop and make pleasantries if you get my drift! On the nose I got citrus, spices, pepper and a modicum of herb. Taste wise again, getting the spice and pepper a little nutmeg and yeasty/maltiness allied to a certain floral flavour. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. A well made Saison, not a world beater, but a good and refreshing beer from this genre!
