goozen (840), Leiden, Netherlands Oct 4, 2007 Tap at Brouwcafe:Hazy yellow brew from the harbour brewery, got some citrus taste. bierkoning (5128), La Tropica, Netherlands Mar 8, 2007 Updated: Sep 26, 2007Looks like a witbier, blonde and cloudy. Also tastes a bit like a witbier. Perfumed, lemon with hints of coreander. Sweetish and inoffensive.
A sample tasted in september ’07 showed signs of diacetyl. acrdz (4535), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 7, 2006 Updated: Aug 8, 2007Draft glass
Cloudy hazy yellow colored body. Light, fruity, tastes of lemons and melons, mild tartness. Good, light, not complex. Smooth. A simple wit/saison type brew. jerohen (1508), Bussum, Netherlands Jan 7, 2006 On draft at Brouwcafe Scheveningen. Hazy yellow coloured, lasting white head. Predominantly citrus in aroma, some wheat. Very sour flavour, like some Belgian Witbiers. Some sweetness in finish. Initially refreshing, but with with every sip the one-dimensional sourness gets more and more annoying. Worst of all the Brouwcafe Scheveningen beers if you ask me. caesar (2696), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Jan 7, 2006 Tap, brouwcafe. Hazy golden color, short creamy head. Soft sour aroma, bit spicy, grain, citrus. Sour taste, some wheat, bit like a belgian white.
