The name Voorjaarsvreugde means "Early Spring", and this beer is a bit of a spicy saison-style. Scents of candy sugar, mild yeast spices. Light sour lemon flavor, full of a sweet doughy yeast flavor with some coriander as well. Interesting.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 re-rate: Tap. Citric sour lemon aroma. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, very nice lace. Citric start, sour soon turning less sour to even sweet, lemon. Medium body, little sticky in the finish. 5-4-2003, 3.0: Sour and spicy aroma. Hazy, honey color, white head that diminishes fast but not completely, few lace. Sweet, spices, malty. Long lasting finish with the flavors of sweet citrus fruits.
