500ml bottle in a teku. Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some darker and sweeter malts with caramel and some toffee, a lot of raisins and dark fruits, and some light bitterness. Flavor the same with a decent blend, but the alcohol isn’t hidden too well. Average to smoother texture. A pretty good quad but not the best.

Pours a rich brown color with a very thin off white head. Smells a bit of chocolate, dates and caramel. Pretty great smell. Taste is a bit sweet with some of that chocolate date like flavor coming through. Good stuff

curepute (139) - New York, USA - APR 20, 2014
Very dark amber brown with tiny lacing. Has the aroma of a brewery, malty with molasses, ginger bread. Thankfully the taste is not like that. Roasted malts, not too sweet for a quad. Finishes fairly bitter. More like a mild black IPA.

Ratman197 (9876) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 4, 2014
500 ml bottle poured a hazy reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of cocoa, toffee, light tobacco and light fruitiness. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, cocoa, fruitiness, tobacco, yeast and light spice with a smooth lingering toffee finish.

Damico (2587) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 14, 2014
Pours thick unclear murky burnt sienna amber with a big creamy sandy head. Aroma is very sweet malty and Belgian yeast. Flavor brings too much booze on a big malty base.

I found zero offensive about this beer as others have. It poured a deep brown with a small tannish head. Aroma was faint of malty yeast and watered down dried dark fruit. Tasted the same with a faint hint of chocolate.Palate watery. ABV not even there, Went down quick and easy. Paid $2.99 for a 550mml bottle on sale. It was just a pretty boring offering. Didn’t notice until I had read other ratings that this bottle is numbered. Mine was 195/10000.
