Pours with a very, very deep brown hued body with some red highlights. Large deep tan head lasts. Aromas of isoamyl acetate, brown sugar, alcohol, light leather. Quite boozy, persimmon, decent complexity, light clove and cardamom. Good yeast character. Flavors are malty, cola, clove, cardamom, somewhat rich vienna like toasted malt character. Dark fruit and mild phenol yeast character. Decently clean, but not exceptional. Nicely dry, medium boozy, medium low bitterness. Spiced, dry wine. Low but noticeable tannin. Low body, medium carbonation, pretty dry. One of the better bottled options, but the original draught options seemed a touch better.

Bottle. This is opaque dark brown. A big malty aroma and flavor. First sip is harsh and that stayed throughout. Caramel, dark fruit, Belgian yeast, and brown sugar. That harshness had to have been the alcohol and it made this less enjoyable than it could be.

50cl bottle pours with a clear dark amber body with ruby red hues and supporting thin tan head. The aroma offers up prunes and raisins and booze along with a thin caramel malt note. The taste is similar with notes of prunes and caramel malts moving into raisins, plum juice and brown sugar sweetness to midway. It gets a touch boozy now and then as the finish approaches. Decent.
