We use only imported Belgian malt, German noble hops and our brouwerij west yeast. We chose not to duplicate the standard "peppery/spicy" saison profile and instead go after bubble gum esters and noble hop aroma. Extra is Bright and malty, with a firm bitterness and a dry finish. Hazy gold in color. 6.5% ALC/VOL and of course no spices added.

Hazy golden orange pour with abundant rocky white head. Soft aromas of citrus peel, spice and yeasty funk. Flavors follow the aroma, much more yeast and citrus... canned peaches.

From Bottle. Pours a hazy golden hue with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast, Taste of pear, lemongrass, dull white pepper, spicy yeast, bubblegum, a bit flat, and biscuit malt. Very effervescent. Medium body. Not the best saison I've ever had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden yellow with a bright white head, moderate retention and lace. Gentle hop aroma, with bananas and a hint of clove. Taste is similar, with a yeast presence to fill out the profile. Light body lively carbonation, prickly mouthfeel and a crisp finish.

Bottle. Clear golden pour, with a small white head. Grain, light banana sweetness, yeast, and a bit of white pepper. Not very interesting.

bottle picked up in Seattle. Pours out and nice light gold topped with a long lasting whitehead. Nose is light floral notes sweet malts and some barnyard. Taste is as the nose with some light hops barnyard and some grass. Very low carb but I like a lower carb beer.

Bottle. Almost clear gold with a white head. Aroma is honeyed and floral with light peach and pear. Some vanilla and clove. Sweet with lemon pudding and yes, bubblegum, with a slightly bitter and still quite spicy (clove, pepper) finish. Finish seems drier after half a bottle or so. Carbonation is on the low side for this sort of thing and a few more bubbles might have helped bring the sweetness back to the pack. Slightly odd take, but interesting and pretty good.
