3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
First things first. This gets WAY better as it warms. Initially wasnít even decent but as it warmed up notes of pineapple bubble gum and cotton candy hit the nose and palate. A sweet take on the saison and certainly not traditional but easy drinking and nice. Would buy again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Almost clear gold with a white head. Aroma is honeyed and floral with light peach and pear. Some vanilla and clove. Sweet with lemon pudding and yes, bubblegum, with a slightly bitter and still quite spicy (clove, pepper) finish. Finish seems drier after half a bottle or so. Carbonation is on the low side for this sort of thing and a few more bubbles might have helped bring the sweetness back to the pack. Slightly odd take, but interesting and pretty good.

Pours deep yellow haze with thin white head. Yeast, citrus on the nose. Malt sweetness with lemon and hop notes. A dash of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and average carbonation flirt with dry finish. Not a typical saison, but an easy drink.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy golden, darker than straw, lighter than a pure gold, with a fairly buoyant eggshell head that settles slowly and leaves some clinging fluffy lace. Nose definitely hits the bubble gum and grassy noble hops they were going for, with some crackery biscuit malt notes, some light lemon citrus, maybe a dash of pine. Lightly sweet, slightly tart, fairly bitter. Lighter side of medium bodied, somewhat softer carb action though still some tingle, a bit fluffy, with a crisp grassy dry finish. Iím really happy with this. Nice delicate aromatics, good flavor balance, and the dry finish I always look for with saisons. Very good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Golden, pale haze, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Pale floral nose, slightly barnish, a little citrusy.   Very barnish on the tongue, pale grassiness, a little wheaty, but not all that floral or
perky.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes like a mealy/wheaty beer, without much character at all.   Started out a bit barnish/musty, but seems to finish very much middle of the road.   Saison, bright and
floral.   Sorry, not this one.
