skortila (2393), Bunnik, Netherlands Mar 24, 2008 Bottled. Aroma has malts, bouillon of cowflesh, yeast and fruits. Hazy, yellow-orange coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet, again this bouillon, maltiness and yeast. Medium bodied. Not my cup of bouillon.
caesar (2498), Zeist, Netherlands Mar 27, 2008 Bottled. Cloudy orange color, short head. Aroma of broth/bouillon, meat, some sweet caramel, slight spicy. Weird stuff, can’t stop thinking of the broth, which makes it quite hard to drink. Furthermore, it is not that bad, just a bit unbalanced, and not too complex. Maybe heating it up, and adding some vegetables would make it a good soup. maeib (3949), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 13, 2006 Bottled. A very hazy blonde coloured beer with a nice pillowy white head. Looks a little like a hefeweizen in the glass. Aroma is a little soapy and peppery and lemony. Some yeast notes also . The tste is light and unassuming, but very pleasant to drink. Light fruitiness and some yeast charcter. A touch of peppery hop. Very pleasant. bierkoning (4716), La Tropica, Netherlands Jul 6, 2006 Updated: Aug 15, 2007From St Servattumus:
Blonde and cloudy. What an indifferent aroma and flavor! Or did the heat (it is 98 DF) affect my tastebuds? Just a bit of fruit (especially citrusfruit) and a bit of yeast. Short aftertaste. Otje (668), Leiden, Netherlands Apr 23, 2006 hazy yellow/orange beer, virtually no head. smells fruity, malty and sourrish. tastes sweet, fruity, malty and raw. yep, unfermented malts and maltose. finish is very short a bit sweet and fruity. low on co2. thin bodied.
