JorisPPattyn (4690), Antwerpen, Belgium Dec 22, 2007 Updated: Dec 23, 2007Near gushing to fluffy, lightly yellow head over slightly hazy pale orange beer. Bit astringency in the nose, some citrus, a bit "farmyard" odours, if in a nice, checked way. Ends on some dusty, but citrussy hops. Some fatty acids spoil an otherwise classical tripel taste: dry, if not overmuch, liqueurish, citrus(peel). Lightly peppery, less hops than the nose suggested. Appropriately dry, if enough restsugars left. Medium bodied. More than decent tripel, even when still plagued by some typical homebrew streaks. Txs a lot, this is a rare one, Geroen. oberabcbbsok (688), Hoboken, Belgium Oct 29, 2007 Tasted in a beer tasting from 8 different tripple beers.
For me it was the best of the 8. We tasted without nowing wich beer. Only at the end we got the resuls of the tasting. This one was defently the best for me Jerre (1464), Waregem, Belgium Sep 30, 2007 Bottle, 33 cl.
Aroma fruits, coriander, malts, hops.
Medium body. Taste is much coriander but not too, a bit sweet, yeasts, and good bitterness, very refreshing.
Good tripel for this new brewery.
