RE-taste @ home (bought Pauwels, Heule)
Hazy dark golden color, with a large white head.
Aroma bit spice, fruits, malts.
Medium body. Taste little sweet, some spices, fruits, hops, bitterness. It’s like this beer has more than just 6 % alc.
Good.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange gold with a 3 finger collapsing whiteish head. There’s a strong citrus, light stone fruit aroma. Backed by some earthiness and yeast/spice. Full bodie - cause of the carb. Flavor is spice/yeast, banana, light stone fruit, touch of barnyard. This is delicious. Obviously very, very underrated. There is a tendency towards cod liver oil towards the finish, but a sophisicated palate welcomes the new.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is yeasty, vanilla and corriander. Flavor is fruity to start out then comes some herbal tea and a decent hop backbone. Finish has some honey and spice. I quite liked this one. Had all the fruity, yeasty things you look for in a Belgian but with low alcohol.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sayravai (4526) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 6, 2008
(Bottled, 0.75l) Almost opaque yellow with a very large, cloudy head. Very crisp and fruity, witbier-spicy aroma with sweetish honey-maltiness. Sweetish, crisp, spicy and slightly acidic-alcoholic flavor. Lots of yeast in the bottle, but doesn’t affect the flavor much. Medium-bodied, reasonably refreshing palate with a bit foamy carbonation. A pleasant and crisp brew.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 drfabulous (2140) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JAN 22, 2011
750 from Wine and Cheese Place. Yeast/banana flavor. Nice orange body. While it may not wow you as a Belgian, a very tasty and drinkable beer. Belgian pale ale driven by yeast. I get that nice yeasty burp that Belgian style needs to deliver.

Darker blond golden coloured beer with lots of carbonation and a small white head. Loevely fresh yeasty hoppy aroma with touches of fruits and flowers. Full almost creamy palate. Finish is bitter yeasty with some fruity hoppy and creamy hints. Very nice brew.
