33cl Bottle from Lost Property. Clear ruby chestnut colour, thin but creamy off-white head. Aroma of raisins, plums, candy, light cardamon. Flavour is medium sweet, light minty, hints of eucalyptus and cardamon, light nutty, fruity, light bitter marmelade finish. Light-bodied, soft carbonation. Tasty enough, and a little out of the ordinary.

Gulden Spoor’s first, when they were still named Brouwkot. A bottle of 75 cl releasing a misty peach blonde beer with ochre hue and snow white, sticky, thick foam. Aroma gently fruity, peach, orange, pineapple, honey, grass, white bread; soft fruity taste with light citrussy freshness, honeyish malt sweetishness and mild floral hop bitterishness in the finish. Okay but not too exciting. Apparently this original blonde version has been revised to a dark beer meanwhile - I suggest we make two separate entries then!

Een heel lekker donker bier met een goede, uitgesproken smaak aan zoals het hoort.

Dark brown with small light brown foam head. Aroma is sweet caramel, so is taste. Bit too sweet. (Velp 201407)

15cl z kranu na Zythos BierFestival w Leuven. Ciemne i mętne piwo o delikatnym smaku kawy i mocniejszyùm podpalanego karmelu. Do tego można dodać smak czarnej porzeczki. Lekko cierpkie na końcu.

Beer two in a 0.2 litre glass, part of a five glass flight at La Trappist, Brugge on 30th Jan 2014. Dark brown body with a fast fading white head. Fairly sweet nose and taste, caramel and fruitiness lead the way with a toffee coating for good measure. The yeast kicks in mid-sip, but this is a beer my sweet tooth like, for others it might not work so well, especially the hop bomb guys. Medium bodied and for me a very pleasant second beer within the litre flight.

Brune assez foncée, effervescence moyenne-faible, mousse tombe dans l’immédiat (ou presque). Tout ici est léger, tant les malts rôtis que la présence de fruits foncés, le caramel ou encore l’amertume. Trop aqueuse.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is full of orange, toffee and biscuit. The flavor has some orange, rosemary and biscuit malt notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Aroma of malts, some ripe fruits, caramel and toffee. Quite sweet taste also, ripe fruits, caramel malts, toffee and faint yeast. Decent but a bit too sweet.

33 cl. bottle split by 3 @ ’t Rusteel. Pours a blackish dark brown with a tanned head constituted of big bubbles. Nose is lightly roasted, sweet coffee, touch grainy chocolate, chocolate additives & dash BE yeast. Tastes of ripe red grapes, some alcohol, raw coffee ground, roasted, warming, reminds me a bit of fortified wine with spices & bit liquorish. Touch sticky body with a light grainy feel. Original & interesting brew.
