UPDATED: MAY 9, 2008 Bottle. @ ’t Rusteel. RE from tap yesterday @ ’t Rusteel. Now it’s more hazy yellow color. my opinion last year it was better. But it’s still refrshing on a summer day. Cloudy dark blond almost amber color with great white head. Medium body. Nice beer. Taste hops, little sweet, with bitterness. A little dry aftertaste but very good. Like it !

Bottle. First beer I’m giving a 5 in appearance because of the bottle and its little flying goat. Is that what Netebuk means? Regardless... Aroma of fruit-flavored marshmallows, anise, cardamom(?), flowery/herbal notes (seemingly largely from hops), all in all very interesting spicy/herb profile. Flavor has some general light fruitiness with lots more of those flowers and herbs with some marmalade in the finish. All in all interesting and good stuff.

transparent gold, thin white ring for a head. Soft nose, musty lemon, milk, and wheat. Dry wheaty bitterness, hangs in finish, light lemon at front, bubblegum. Nice dry bitter balance.

I sampled this at the Craft Ale House from a bottle. The big party at the back of the room was excellent enough to allow me to sample this. It usually pays off to make new friends, especially when it comes to beer and good conversation. This Belgian ale poured a hazy and cloudy dark golden color with a huge off-white head. There wasn’t a whole lot of lacing left around the glass, though. The nose was a bit spicy, with some grass and bread tone. The flavors were extremely smooth and well-balanced, with hints of citrus, yeast, grains, coriander, wood and nuts. The finish had just a touch of a spicy character to it. I wouldn’t mind having a full bottle of this sometime.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Slightly hazy golden with a smallish head. Buttery-malty, slightly grassy-hoppy aroma with some acidity and vegetables. Slightly sweet, bisquity-malty, saisony flavor with fruit and toffee. Medium-bodied, easily drinkable and soft-carbonated palate. A quite enjoyable, smooth and easily drinkable.

What a cute bottle! Pours a clear light orange with a small white head. Aroma of apples, pears, bready malt, and yeast. Flavor is similar with lots of light fruits and a spicy kick in the finish. Very pleasant, smooth, and easy drinking. Great Belgian Ale. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)
