COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

DAAIP; Tapped at source, small, murky gold and frothy with a short lived off-white head. Nose is moderate to heavy, sweet fruit, banana and cloves, moderate wheat malt, yeast and light citrus. Taste is moderate sweet and light bitter with a moderate lasting finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to avarage.

Tap at brewpub, Poznan. Hazy yellow color, white head. Mainly banana in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Overriped banana in the flavor. Basic, not very exciting weizen.

On tap at Brovaria, Poznan. Pours hazy dark yellow, small head. Banana and spices aroma. Fruity and wheaty taste. Expected slightly fuller body. Not the best hefeweizen, but not bad either.

ElDesmadre (2279) - Mikołów, POLAND - OCT 23, 2013
Draught at the brewpub. Very aggressive and phenolic weizen with prominent notes of cuckooflower (sic!). Sharp palate, some chlorine-like elements... this one is really bad.

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy pale yellow with a stable white head. Light aroma of wheat. Pleasant, refreshing, wheaty and hoppy, a little creamy taste. Watery palate. OK, but not the best weizen ever tasted.

Served as their hefeweizen rather than "Pszenicze". Proto-hefe aroma - banana and clove all over the place. Cloudy body, small head. The flavor is somewhat of a letdown - wheat malt under green hops and clove. A clean beer but it doesn’t draw one it very much.
