Commercial Description: Brewed occasionally on Christmas as a timid replica of the famous Dubbel beers made by Trappist monks in Belgium.
Real winter warmer (6,5 % ABV), it is not a beer to quench your thirst but rather to sip during nice conversation or contemplation.
Brewed on the basis of five different malts, with a late addition of some honey to the kettle. Beer’s fruity and spicy aroma and flavor come first of all from fermentation performed with the yeast strain of Westmalle brewery’s origin.
Dec 22, 2007 Draught at the brewpub in Warsaw. Sugary aroma, taste of sugar & malt. Looks like dark honey, with a thick white head.
