Cask Conditioned Handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A light golden beer with a whitish head and lace. There is diacetyl in both the nose and aroma which shield what seems to be a good hoppy beer. The hops in the nose are grassy. Pretty bitter in the mouth. Plenty of body but that’s not necessarily a good thing when there’s diacetyl.
