COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Simpson's No4 was first brewed when Scottish and Newcastle ceased production of Younger's No3. We use Marris Otter, Crystal malt, roasted wheat and barley to produce the colour and the in-depth flavour and character of the beer along with Target and Goldings hops.

Good session ale. Pulls a deep brown, oak colour. Off-white head. Hoppy with some barley and just a hint of peel. Nice bitter aftertaste, not too overpowering. Easy to drink, something I could drink over and over again.
