Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear golden color with a thin and fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Small strings of lacing on the glass. Mild wheat and hops in the nose. Light body with a moderately wheaty character and notes of hops and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a wheat and Saaz hops aftertaste. Barely average overall.

July 17-19, 2008: Brown Derby Wild Wild Wheat has a foamy white head (that leaves puffy lacing), a slight haze, and a dirty gold color. The aroma is very floral and perfume-like as is the floral flavor with just a light wheatiness and soft citrus. This beer has a medium body and feels soft in the mouth. Average.
