Pours hazy mid amber brown with fluffy beige head that soon collapses. Spicy coriander, yeast esters, tangerine and kiwi on nose. Full bodied, light carbonation. Sweet sticky malt tempered by juicy satsuma and spicy black pepper. Belgian yeast to the fore, building hop bitterness and pithy citrus with a touch of astringency and ling sweet malt finish that you can feel on your teeth.

Bottle. Appearance: Rich amber, slightly hazy with a decent two finger off white head. Aroma: Wonderful Belgian yeast aroma, slight hint of banana and cloves, quite hoppy, smells really great. Flavour: Again a lovely Belgian yeastiness at first however it makes way for a fantastic bitter hop wallop, cloves, grass, a little banana and just enough alcohol present to remind you that you’re having a 7.4% brew. Long hoppy and yeasty finish, exceptionally balanced. Love it. Another great Brown Paper Bag Project offering.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at LMG. Deep ruby pour with nice lasting white head. Aroma gives plenty of fruity Belgian yeast, light spice, light banana, and some very green citrusy notes. Caramel hits upfront in the taste, with plenty of interesting Belgian yeastiness. Big citric hop hit comes next - limey bitterness is quite powerful and zingy. Citrus lingers alongside the yeast notes and spiciness. A more rounded beer than batch one, although I've scored them pretty much the same. Reminds me of what a hopped up Belgian ambrée would taste like. Very innovative - like nothing I've had before.
