On draught at the brewpub in downtown Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thick and creamy off-white head that has good retention and excellent, sticky lacing. Aroma of fruity caramel malt, some apple/pear character, toffee and some flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with fruity malt flavors of apples/pears, roasted nuts, caramel and a touch of butterscotch. Finish is semi-sweet, malty with a mild and dry butterscotch aftertaste.
