On tap at brownings. Clear dark amber/light brown with a disappearing white head. nice fruity raisin ginger toffee aroma. sweet raisin toffee flavor with a nice bittersweet toffee backdrop and spicy ginger notes. balanced bittersweet slightly tart raisin toffee hazelnut finish. light ginger spice. medium body nice minimal carbonation. good but not great.

Tap at Brownings. Pours dark amber with a fully receding light tan head. Aroma of sticky toffee, caramel, and medicinal phenols. Taste is phenolic spice, apple, and band-aid. Mouthfeel is full bodied and sticky with soft carbonation. Medicinal and sweet, not enough malty goodness. Perhaps this needed a longer lagering?
