NachlamSie (1308), Tennessee, USA Jun 25, 2008 Draught. Pours brown. The aroma is sweet, almost cola-like with hints at oats. Not much bitterness or roast is present on this one. I found the mouthfeel to be light for a stout. Flavors of caramel and chocolate are present with a richly sweet finish. This is a decent, fairly creamy beer. There just isn’t much to it. Tmoney99 (3429), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jun 16, 2008 Draft sample at Keg Fest. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted chocolate malt and coffee aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium roasted balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Smooth brew, my expectations where met. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA May 2, 2004 Draft - black appearance. Too thin for the style. Very roasty with Chinook, Northern Brewers and Perle hops. Getting better!
