I was surprised cause I had not heard great things about this brewery. Very hoppy and full of citrus. So strong that I had to share it with some folks. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2008 On tap. Pours hazy copper with an off-white head. The aroma has suggestions wood, citrus, some plastic. The hop profile is interesting. The palate is just medium, though it works well for this. There isn’t a whole lot of bite to this one, just adequate orange, and assorted citrus. A sharper wooden note is found in the finish, probably the most bitter thing about the beer. Along with the citrusy character, I found hints at melons and nutmeg. I enjoyed the beer pretty well, but it is absolutely too mild for an IIPA. Brigadier (1260), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

I picked this up in Kentucky and figured it would be nice to crack open a bottle. I’ve never had anything from Browning but if this is any indication I hope they bottle a few more beers. It is nothing spectacular yet I could see myself visiting their brwepub location when in town. It reminds me of the type of beer you get from the likes of Avery and New Holland.
Aroma / Appearance - The caramel colored body was topped by a white head. Orange and citrus notes were evident but not as strong as what you would get from a West Coast hop bomb. This was much tamer to the point where I would almost consider it simply an IPA.
Flavor / Palate - The first impression is wholy bitter thanks to the hop presence. This quickly recedes leaving behind caramel and citrus. The fluid mouthfeel could be a little thicker. Once again I find myself expecting a little more punch - even regional IIPAs like Lake Erie Monster and Mean Manashi have more kick than this. Still it struck a decent enough balance that I’ll eventually crack open the other bottle in the near future. heemer77 (4313), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The body was hazy medium copper with a light off white head. The aroma was woody with strong grapefruit. There was also some fresh made cloth, if that makes sense. Not fresh laundered, but fresh from the loom. The taste was fairly bitter with some bread crust. There was also some green bean or plent stem type tastes. kp (8600), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Source: Rich O’s
opaque burnt orange, frothy cream colored head, lots of thick scattered lace,
light sweet citrus aroma,
rich bready malt flavor balance by lots of citrus and herbal hops, the citrus grows and takes on a nice orange character, nice long bitter finish follows the hop flavor without detracting from it,

Alround rating: Lots of caramel and caramalt, lots of bittering grassy hops, some citrusy character too. I dont really know what to say here, its drinkable stuff enough but just lacking the excitment i generally expect from such an ale. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Bottle, Pours a nice copper color with a thin head, A lot of green aromas, citrus, grassy notes. Taste starts sweet initially, finishes dry with plenty of resin, spice and orange citrus notes. There is something different about this IIPA and it could be because its a bit lighter on the malts, and the hops are of greener in taste than many others. Thanks to MrRomero.
