Pours dark amber with a light head that left quickly and with only a small amount of lacing down the glass. Smells syrupy, sweet, of cherries predominantly. Malt and sour cherry on the tongue with a bit of bitter in the finish. Served with a maraschino cherry at the bottom.
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 popkow (209) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 20, 2011
Pours ruby red with an off white creamy head. Smells of cherries, rasberries, straw, sugar and some cough syrup lingering. Taste is tilted to fruit with not enough hop/malt notes. Thin but drinkable.

Amber orange pour thin off white head .... aroma of sour cherries and tart raspberries .... sweet tart and sour cherry and raspberry taste some sweet malt mostly in the backbone of the beer but up front all sour cherry and tart raspberry and a bitter hop that goes into the dry and sour/tart finish ..... underrated since most of the low ratings are from 2004 sessionable and abv hidden well definitely an improved recipe
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerbill (2938) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 6, 2011
22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy brown with reddish highlights and a thin-moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Pleasant aroma of raspberries with some cherry as well. I am not picking up any hop character in the nose. The flavor is rich and malty with ample raspberries and cherries that are quite tart and very flavorful. Bright and lively on the palate. Very enjoyable.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours dark amber with a slight beige head. Kind of looks like there’s a reddish tinge in the liquid. Tart raspberry aroma. Body is a bit thin. Flavor is tart and astringent. Starts raspberry, but there is some cherry following. Tart/sour solves all issues. The malt is a bit dodgy, and I’m not sure about hop zest, but the tart fruit and the better malt aspects make this a winner. It has substance!
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ngeunit1 (810) - Mountain View, California, USA - FEB 26, 2011
A - Really nice dark brown/red color. Little head when poured out of the growler.
S - Inviting raspberry and cherry aroma. Very pleasant.
T - The cherry and raspberry really present themselves early and dominate the early taste. The malt taste eventually blends itself in and the result is a really nice mixing of the two flavors that linger throughout the aftertaste. The only negative here was that the cherry part of the aroma was much stronger than the actual taste.
M - Very nice, fairly light, and crisp. Felt just right on the tongue, not too watery and not too heavy.
D - This is an extremely drinkable beer. The balance between the fruit taste and the natural taste of the malt really created a smooth and enjoyable beer all around.
Serving type: growler
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 nearbeer (2654) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 13, 2010
Bomber. Red-brown with almost no lasting bubbles. Faint nose of raspberry and cherry. Big cherry cola taste, with a metallic raspberry finish. A hint of dusty caramel grain and herby hop bite on the finish as well. Light-medium body is sweet, lightly tingly and kind of hard to finish.

Bright red pour. Fruity raspberry aroma. Cherry is muted but the beer itself is a pretty light-bodied confection than it is anything of great complexity. A touch of wheat malt spiciness.

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a hazed orange with a thin white head. Super sweet cherry and raspberry aromas. Sweet, fruity and malty, with a weird not sour tartness. A little oxidized with some cardboard flavors. Reminds me of stale Fruity Pebbles. Toast and sweet fruit on the finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a yellowish color, tiny white head, cherry at the bottom of the glass. Taste is dominated by cherry and raspberry and a little carbonation. Too sweet for my taste.
