Commercial Description:
We combine buckets of juicy whole, crushed cherries and raspberries with a sweet amber ale to craft this unique, complex and revered taste. Mild whole hop zest and fresh-fruit tartness perfectly balance this ale’s big malt character.

Seems like you either ove this one or hate it. I loved it. Nice smell of cherries more than raspberries. This was on tap at Browns. Reddish color, light flavor. Nice beer.

on tap at the Empire State Brew Fest in Syracuse. Decent fruit beer but way too sweet to make a regular drinker. The sweetness did taste real though not artificial just way too much of it. No buy again

Free sample courtesy of Gary Brown at the Troy Brewpub location. Nice cherry notes with at cherry at the bottom of the glass. As far as fruit beers go, this is very good... not syrupy at all. Brewed with fresh fruits, nice alc content, very drinkable on a warm day. Not overly fruity either.

Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazed copper color with a cherry in the bottom of the glass. Off-white head. The aroma was light and malty more than fruity. where is the raspberry? Way too light. The flavor had malty caramel with a touch of cherry in the middle. Dry mildly bitter finish..

From the brewery "sampler". Not a bad brew, but I’m slowly deciding that cherry and beer do not mix. More obvious to me now is that RASPBERRY and beer do not mix. This brew isn’t bad, in fact, the aroma is pretty good! However, the bev leaves a distinctly acidic aftertaste. Skip this brew and go for the Browns IPA.
