Brewed to commemorate the Hudson River’s Quadricentennial Celebration, Brown’s Golden Rye Ale is a smooth and refreshing summer style. Gold in color with a slightly spicy bite, our Golden Rye is a dependable companion for lighter summer fare or just hanging out on the deck. Look for it this summer in our Taproom and in bars and restaurants throughout the Capitol Region.

Tap at Vermont Brewer’s Fest 2009. Cloudy golden/straw colour. Thick white head. The nose is quite light and a bit of lightly grainy, crackery character. Lightly floral/herbal hops with a bit of light lingering character. Lean-bodied, clear and reasonably refreshing. Sort of nice but not all that complex. Fairly nice noble hoppiness on the back.
