beastiefan2k (1236), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Jul 13, 2008 Pint pour @ brewpub. Looks beautiful with a dull golden color and a rush of carbonation bubbles in the middle. The bubbles seem to never let up. The pilsner is very clean with no off flavors. Mainly a clean white bread-like sweetness. Not citric or fruity at all but still very nice. A light hoppiness detected in the flavor. Very easy drinking and thirst quenching. Nicely made, doesn’t go above and beyond but does not falter either.
hophead75 (1768), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Jan 3, 2009 Sampled at the brewpub. Light golden in color with a medium white head. Aroma has some earthy hops as well as some bready pils malt. Taste has bready pils malt, lightly grainy with a nice moderate earthy hop presence. Body is lightly creamy and is light to medium. Finishes with a light bitterness with some lingering bready malts. Very clean and crisp, can’t find any flaws in this. Excellent pils. PilsnerPeter (1705), Flushing, New York, USA Aug 11, 2008 Tap at The Golden Rail Ale House: Light golden in color with a thin white head. The aroma has some dough/biscuit notes and some grassy hop hints. Nice and creamy feeling on the palate. The flavor has a nice crackery malt base. It remains dry throughout with some grassy flavors and a bitter/dry finish. A decent Pilsner. Haslinger (574), Syracuse, New York, USA Jul 23, 2008 on tap at the Empire State Brew Fest in Syracuse. GREAT pilsener. One of the best I have ever had. Definitely would buy again if I wanted an easy drinking lighter tasting beer. Pwn3d (633), NYC, New York, USA Apr 26, 2008 Free sample courtesy of Gary Brown at the Troy Brewpub location. A very floral hoppy pilsner, zesty and packs a bitter bite. Not my personal favorite offering from these guys, mainly due to a lack of carbonation... but i can see how this could be popular. Was neat to see how they make it tho!
