This is a stellar hefeweizen. Hints of banana and clove balanced nicely with sweet wheat maltiness. This is indeed a true German hefeweizen.

Draft at brewpub: Looks like a muddy glass of orange juice with a large white head. Nose is full of citrus and wheat, a little cloves. Tastes just how I like it with lots of citrus and banana, some solid wheat tones and cloves. A great version of the style from a small Idaho brewer. My favorite beer from Brownstone so far...

Sampled on draught at the brewpub restraunt in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Pours a very cloudy golden yellow brew with a white head that slowly dissolves to a ring with good lacing. Aroma of bready yeast, some green vegetables along with beets and southern cooked grits. Very little banana esters in this beverage. Taste is thick, medium to full bodied, very light carbonation, with a clove and biscuit flavor. Finish is sweet, smooth with a slight lemony aftertaste, even without a lemon slice with the drink.

On tap @ The Brownstone. Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of bisquits, citrus and some spice. Flavor of citrus, with a breadsy yeasty finish.
