Broyhan has the classic german pilsner taste that is really bubbly and leaves you with a slightly bitter aftertaste. The beer has a nice head and finishes with a nice aroma, but still, just not filling enough to satisfy this beer drinker’s craving.

Pale golden color with no head and no lacing. Aroma was best thing this beer had goin for it- malty and sweet. Flavor was awful, tasted like sour sunflower seeds. It was too bad to finish.

Surprised to see how few ratings there are on this beer. A decent pils, not great but not terrible. Apparently this hasn’t gotten much further than the PA area.

Saw this at Epps in Limerick. A middle-of-the-road pils, with more flavor and aroma than many lower end pilseners. Not horrible, but not memorable either.

I had this several weeks back at the Sharp Edge European BeerFest in the Burgh. Pours pale gold with little head. Tastae and aroma is very muted, but of wheat, yeast. No hops or other floral aromas noticeable. This is definitely a mowing beer.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2008 [bottle - Great European Beerfest 8, Sharp Edge Tavern - East Liberty, PA] Poured a pale gold color with a thin white head. Good balance of hops and malt in both the aroma and the flavor. Slight bitter finish at the end. Ordinary run-of-the-mill pils.

Sampled this at a beer tasting. Not an entirely horrible Euro pils ... but really would never order it. As a friend put it, not totally offensive.

Found this beer in Erie, Pa. Its imported via a Pennsylvania company called EFCO, from Jenkinsville, Pa. The website has no mention of the beer but i researched and they do export it. The color is pale yellow with a rapidly diminishing head. It has lacey bubbles that swirl to the top. Aroma is somewhat non existant while the flavor is that of any german pilsner. Average wheaty taste with a very sweet honey almond note. Worth a try as it was not rediculously expensive for what it was.
