Pours with a light white head that fades slowly, leaving a some lace. Light-medium carbonation. Clear light amber color, light-medium bodied, starts malty and sweet, finishes mellow with some crispness, good session beer. $1.05 for a 16 oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, MA.

2004 bomber. Well I wasnt given a glass to drink this with, so I just went with it and drank it from the bottle. I did pour some in my friends glass to check the color, which was a very soft yellow, light golds and a white head. Aroma had some light malts in it, some grass notes, nothing big but not too bad. Flavor was drinkably neutral, some light malt flavors (white bread, hay, almonds maybe) but nothing unusual and at least no sour/skunky stale cereal flavors. I drank it down just fine. Not overly carbonated, which is a big plus. Light body.

Clear golden/straw color, malty aroma, watery mouthfeel, bland taste. Very light, but inoffensive.

Ugh, this is an awful excuse for a beer. this "Vara Brewing Co." from Boston needs to be thrown into the hahbah. Strong budcoorsmiller aroma and appearance. The taste has an extreme emptyness to it.

Mysterious beer of Boston origins. Comes in a pounder BOTTLE, interestingly. I have only ever seen it at Bukowski's in Boston. This is like the Christopher Walken of beers, if that makes sense.

$14 for a case, returnable bottles. Better than PBR, Bud, Coors and so on, but a hell of a lot cheaper. Look or ask for it, it’s out there.
