Bottle, trade with Grima, huge thanx! Barva: tměvě hnědočervená. Pěna jemná, nedržící. Vůně: lehká kávově karamelová. Chuť: plné výrazně sladké pivo se sladovou chutí s jemným náznakem višní a kávy. Jen slabý chmelový náznak. Přestože nejsem fanda sladkých piv, tohle je prostě výborné!

Clear ruby brown with beige foam head, quickly fading away. Light caramel aroma, bit too sweet. Watery taste, not too much taste actually. Dissapointing. (Velp 201411)

(Bruch Festbock) Stubby bottle 330 ml from trade with vipinvelp, thanks! Served into a snifter, ABV 6.8% Light brown colour on the body, clear and transparent, with a small and thin light beige head. Low retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, sugars, light floral notes. Taste is sweet, caramel, malts, some faint chocolate on the finish, toffee. Thin body, low carbonation. Overall okay, a bit too thin for me.

Rating from 2008: Im Antrunk malzig-wässrig. --> 12,9,12,10,12,10 - 10,45

Nice bite to this beer. Sharp, bitterness with elements of coffee and chocolate. Color is deep brown, no head to speak of, but taste is right on the money. A nice sipper for a fall day.

Clear copper color lasting head. Aroma: Caramel and alcohol. Full in body. Finish is sweet and short. I get caramel and perceive a bit of hotness from the alcohol.

Test vom 22.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,8,8,11,6,9 - 8,65

Grima (2124) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2011
The beer in glass, looks amber - brown, and a beautiful fine-pored cream stands on top for a long time. Smells very malty, subtly roasty.Starts very malty, with a slight roasted malt note. The aftertaste is slightly bitter, the taste really pulls out a long time. To the center part of the aftertaste it is slightly sweet. Great Bockbier!
