Rating from 2009: Schöne dunkelbraune Farbe, malzig-frischer Geruch. --> 12,11,11,10,12,10 - 10,60

McTapps (6502) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2013
Deep hazelnut brown colour with low creamy head and medium body. Nose of malt and nuts with some light sour hints. Taste of malt, sour grains, torf, burnt caramel, woods, smoke and wine cellar. Very easy to drink, but the finish is little bit too dull. But nice Dunkel nevertheless.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Nice and malty one with some nuts and caramel in the back. Quaffy and really crispy. Quite refreshing for a Dunkel one. Thumbs up for sure.

Light amber colour with an off white head. Caramel malt and hoppy aroma. Unusual hoppy flavour for a german beer. Nice hoppy and a fine caramel malt background.
