Bottle, 4.8%. Sourish aroma. Nice clear dark copper colour. Small white head. The flavour is slightly smoky with a bit of sourness to it. Not my idea of a Landbier.

Danke an Malzbonbon. Wässrig, leicht röstmalzern, trocken. Das Bier schmeckt langweilig, erwähnenswert scheint wohl höchstens noch die herb-malzige Note im Abgang. Test vom 18.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,7,5,8,6 - 6,55

Bottle (kindly donated by McTapps!): Copper coloured, clear, small persistent off-white head, burnt malt, caramel and a tinge of vegetables in the dryish bitter-sweet nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, thin Body, empty MF; short dryish malty and toasty-bitter finish. Not too bad, but too thin...

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2006
(33cl bottle, with thanks to Saarlander !) Clear, amber colour with a fluffy, off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet toast-malty aroma with caramel, notes of marzipan and shy herbal hops. Sweet flavour, aromatic taste of dark malt with caramel, toffee and light herbal spicy notes; unfortunately quite slim bodied, crispy mouthfeel; sweet-bitter malty finish.A bit slim but still quaffable.

Bit murky brown-amber beer with orange highlights; small dirty-yellow head. Dark malts, leafy & vegetable. Bit of hazelnut oil aroma. Rather fresh green leaves taste, helped by the spritzy carbonation. Leafy, slight caramelly dark malts, but certainly not too sweet. Light to medium body, spritzy. Not much of an aftertaste. In its style, remarkably refreshing. Like the Pilsener, very carbonated, but in this case, it complements the beer. Big thanks to Marcusfromthebeerdesert!
