3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a nice golden color with white forming stands through out. Aroma is a true pleasure a full floral and citrus spectrum. Taste is much like an unfilltered Pils., however very mellow. Palate is weak but Pils like. Overall a very nice Zwickel, which is a little understood beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Saarlander. It pours a murky yellow beer with a tall nicely remaining lacing white head. Murkier and paler appearance than expected. Lovely hops, baguette, sweat, hop resin and yeast in the nose which is really inviting. Coconut and strawberry showing up in the taste. Yeast accented. Strong bitterness. Long dry hoppy finish which is reminiscent of coconut and baguette. Excellent and underrated in my opinion. Thanks a lot Aaron!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Huge yellowish head over unclear yellow orange beer with mossy shine. Yeasty, sulphury nose. Dry malts and some flowery hops, but yeastesters dominate the aroma. Dry, slightly yeast- & hopbitterish character. Faint to stronger sulphur, esters. Medium bodied, yeast-filled to quite slick, very well carbonated. Yeast-determined beer; especially the sulphurcomponent/ester keeps coming out (too) strong. Even onion-like, at times. Big thanks to Marcusfromthebeerdesert!
