YogiBeera (2413), Hamburg, Germany Mar 6, 2006 Big rocky white head, hazy light orange color. A bit skunky but also grainy in the nose. Light hops taste .- a bit watery, but still nice. Thanks to the ambassador of Bruch Zwickel: Saarlander - for sending this!
JorisPPattyn (4690), Antwerpen, Belgium Dec 16, 2008 Huge yellowish head over unclear yellow orange beer with mossy shine. Yeasty, sulphury nose. Dry malts and some flowery hops, but yeastesters dominate the aroma. Dry, slightly yeast- & hopbitterish character. Faint to stronger sulphur, esters. Medium bodied, yeast-filled to quite slick, very well carbonated. Yeast-determined beer; especially the sulphurcomponent/ester keeps coming out (too) strong. Even onion-like, at times. Big thanks to Marcusfromthebeerdesert! darkseduction (151), Zweibrücken, Germany Dec 10, 2008 Bottle 33cl. Nice cloudy golden brew, appetising appearence. Small white head. Lively carbonisation, fresh and floral lightness, in the aftertaste a elaborated maltiness. Hoppy notes underline the satisfying impression. asheft (1039), Marburg, Germany Oct 22, 2008 [bottle]
Nice floral and lemony hops aroma that is a little musty and with definite hay/straw notes. Very hazy yellow-orange with a dense, lasting, white foam cover. Flavour is weak malt and mineral watery followed by some noble hops flavour, a touch of lotus root malt, and a appropriately gentle bitterness to offset a medium residual sweetness. Notes of grass and walnut. High carbonation, medium body, slightly bitter finish. shrubber85 (2598), COB Speicher, Iraq Feb 20, 2008 Bottle. Hay malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with tufts of cloudiness - nice head and lacing. Grass malt flavor - mild bitter finish. An above average bottled zwickel. MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany Feb 16, 2007 Bottle, 4.8%. OK citric aroma. Hazy golden colour. OK white head. The flavour is citric and teaish, a bit watery. High carbonation. Unfortunately too little flavour.
