Bottle: Golden coloured, big beaten egg-white-like head; malty-hoppy nose with a metallic tinge; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, a bit tart, light bodied, almost sticky; bitter-sweet finish. Good, but not very impressive..........
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jaghana (2089) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - MAY 28, 2012
Bottle 50cl from quack-Duck thanks, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is malty and grassy like. Aroma is crisp, hopy on grassy and toasted side, very refreshing, finish is on peppery hops and grass, ok.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - APR 25, 2012
bottle from Getränkeeck Petersaurach. Clearpale yellow, large white head. Resiny hop aroma. Light-to medium-bodied, malty background with lots of aromatic and bitter hops. Typical Franconian hop profile. Smooth palate. A well crafted beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (8576) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2011
It’s yellow-golden with a creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of straw, malt and a little vegetables. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of straw, light bread, flower and malt. The finish is dry, it’s refreshing, but nothing special.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 19, 2007
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a fluffy blond foamy head, leaving beautiful lace work. Dusty, light-sweet and a bit soapy malt aroma with herbal and slightly metallic hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mf. Short initial malty taste with a harsh bitterness; dry, bitter and herbal hoppy finish, also a bit short and slightly watery. Not very balanced and disappointing by Franconian standards..
