on tap at the brewery. also known as the normales. golden, grainy peachy aroma, sweet peach and pear flavours, i didn’t mind it. at least in this brewpub you won’t get distracted by the atmosphere while tasting beers

Golden beer with a high, long-lasting head. The smell is dominant hoppy sweet. Starts with lot of malts, yet very hoppy sweet in the background. The aftertaste is slightly bitter but the sweet undertone is always present and dominates the malt aromas!

Bottle. Golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - grainy sweetish aroma. Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, faint hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and sweetish, faint hoppyness. Quite light-bodied sweetish helles .

Bottle from mein-biershop.de. Poured clear golden color with an almost creamy looking white head. Aroma is weak sweet malt and grass. Flavor similar, slightly sweet malt and some herbal notes. A clean and fresh beer, very refreshing, could easily drink litres of this beer.

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, hay, vegetable, light hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090620]

aka Vollbier. Gold and sparkly with a thick head. Slightly herbal accented aroma with a light breadyness. A little bit fizzy, but has a pleasing pale malt character with a herbal dryness. Almost pils-like, if it wasn’t for the kiss of pale malt late.

Courtesy of Fonefan. It is slightly hazy, light golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of cooked cabbage, light malt and grain. The flavour is watery with a light sweetness and light notes of malt, grain and a hint of fruit.

Bottled@Fonefan. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is quite grainy and grassy along with some bready malts. Flavour is saltwater, cardboard, some grass and grains. Also some rather sweetish notes of something I can’t exactly put my finger on.

Tap at brewery. Clear pure golden with lots of bubbles and a big white head. Fresh balanced aroma. Lots of malt in here and is just packed with fresh grains and a touch of nice sweetness. High carbonation, like the other beers from the brewery. Prickly, fizzy mouthfeel. Very nice dry finish. Herbal dryness on the tongue. Too bad about the fizz. Otherwise it’s a great dry, herbal, nicely hopped helles.

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, small foamy lacy layer; light sweetish-grainy nose,; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; short grainy finish. O.K., a bit boring.........
