Draught at Brauerei Bruckmüller in Nov. 2012: Pale straw. Thin, fragmented white foam. Unpleasant DMS aromas accompany hints of fusel alcohol, flowers, spruce tips, and melon. Firm, fairly fuzzy carbonation. Semi-sweet honeyish hay upfront, but nicely bright and slick with succulent and soothing Hallertauer nectar. Vaguely husky with a hint of popcorn poking through, otherwise has a nice mineral component and a subtle lemony acidity. Cooked corn DMS deposits tacky residue on the tongue, neutralizing any luster that might arise. Soft finish is riddled with grainy and flabby pils malt, which is suggestive of stale popcorn, and a dose of wet hay. The lovely water quality and lemony dimension tells me that this has some potential, but this batch was somewhat defective to my tastes.

lightly hazed amber body with a creamy white head. mild creamed corn and spicy hop nose with some sweet saccharine notes. a bit oily and syrupy while also being watery ad vegetal with green corn and dms and some light minerals and chemicals noticed. mild nose overall is simple and grassy. finish turns to bitter apple juice.

Bottled,wood polish,peach,floral and honey aroma with flavors of bees wax,bread yeast flowers and sweet malt...

From tap im Krug. Fruity malt base, light caramel, Salt and chalk, chewy body good aromatic hop balance. Moreish and nice.

Pours orange colour with a small head. Smells of malts. Mellow sweetness and dryness. Malty aromas and a hoppy dryness.

Bottled 500ml (MBS, BB 09/2012)
Slightly hazy deep golden color, small white head. Light metallic malty nose, grainy too. Light to medium bodied. Flavor is hard - metallic - too. All around irony maltyness. Low bitterness. Feels much more like a normal Helles than usual Kellerbier.

500 ml bottle @ Maifest 2012, Tampere.
Pours a hazy, murky orange colour with a white head. Aroma of lemon, mandarin orange, honey and some herbal notes. Flavour of mandarin orange, grains, yeast, low bitterness and some citrcic tartness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a soft, malty and light fruity finish. Easy to drink. Good.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, some dark bread and light caramel, light grassy hoppyness. Light to moderate, malty - lightly grainy and sweetish flavor, some bread, light caramel, faint grassy hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, some grassy hoppyness. Sweetish kellerbier - nice hoppyness, though.

50cl bottle, Bierzwerg. Poured slightly hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma is malt, bread with some cellar notes. Malt, citrusfruit and grass in flavor. Quite high carbonation. Decent, refreshing.
