Bottled at OPP. Mild malty nose. Pale fast disappearing head. Clear dark brownish colour. Malty and mild hopped taste. Some hints of licorice in the taste. Not very sweet. At the end some hoppiness.

Bottle. Dark amber, very small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and bread. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light dark bread. Finish is short to average, malty and sweetish, some caramel. Caramel sweetish dunkel - that’s it.

Bottled (from meinbiershop.de). Very much deep ruby red withh mediumsized off-white to beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits, some mild wood and resin as well. Flavour is caramel malts, mild sweet fruity notes along with raisins, which then turns into a floral and fruity sweet raisiny finish,

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at One Pint Pub, 20110815) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, mild sourness, grass, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly sour, malty and bitter. Nice maltiness and unpleasant sourness.

Medium yellow-brown colour. Light cocoa and breadcrust aroma. Lean, dry body is fairly toasty and clean. Maybe a bit thin for the type. Good malt flavour despite the thinness.

Tap at brewery. Dark brown-mahogany color. Almost opaque with great off-white foamy head and lacing. Rich brown bread and bread crust aromas. Fairly high carbonation, a bit on the fizzy side. Great dark bread and crust flavors, nuttiness too. Mild bitterness in the finish. Too fizzy but otherwise very good.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, grainy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081122]

Clear dakr amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and grainy notes. Sweet malty flavour with hints of roasteiness and caramel notes. Finsihed sweet.

Bottle, 5.3%. Clear dark brown colour. Small white head. Weak malty flavour, quite watery. Low bitterness. Hint of grain in the finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden brown with a small white head. Light acidic and roasted malty aroma. Flavour is the same with a subdued bitterness. Only light sweet and medium roasted. Light bitterness in the far finish mixed with a roasted malt flavours.
