Coppery color with a light tan or off-white head. A bit malty at first with a nuttiness in the flavor as well. A hint of hops bitterness in the finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jkwood04 (1402) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 6, 2011
11.2oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of Belgian spicy yeast, candy sugar, floral hops, and hints of caramel and light fruit. Flavor pretty good, but could have more. Average texture. A pretty good beer.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 puboflyons (1188) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 6, 2011
The beer pours amber-yellow with a dim haziness and a fluffy, half-inch head that never goes away. The aroma is of sweet malts and very buttery and yeasty. Any hops are not entirely evident but there is a crispness associated with a vague hop character. The body is medium to bold and somewhat carbonated. The taste is both bitter and buttery and unique in this fashion. I found it to be a likeable beer.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Martinus (871) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2011
Amber colour, off white head. Aroma of caramel and malts. Flavour sweet, caramel, malts. Rather thin. Not the most impressive beer I’ve ever tasted.

Light amber, gold when illuminated. white head. Aroma is sweet, like honey, with some light interesting notes of licorice/spice. Flavor is mild up front with a very grassy finish. Only light yeast flavor. Light bodied, fairly dry. A somewhat boring Belgian session ale.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rougeau13 (1216) - Texas, USA - MAY 12, 2011
Pours clear copper with a quickly dissipating moderate off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toast, caramel and a bit of yeast. The flavor is sweet and bready malt, and not that great. Light hop bitterness. Medium bodied, but somehow watery seeming. I’m glad this is just one of a variety pack.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mansquito (1815) - washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors, DC 11.2oz ($3): Pours an amber color with a whitish head. Aroma is of yeast, malts, and fruity notes. Beer is kind of sweet, with subdued hop bitterness. A good amount of yeast. Mostly on the malty side of things. While this is not a great beer, it is relatively well-balanced and pretty drinkable.
2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 cleverlobo (252) - Connecticut, USA - APR 28, 2011
bottle; amber clear with off-white head; aroma-caramel, floral, some yeast; taste-not that impressive to say the truth, mild sweetness, moderate bitterness, heavy carbonation. I am sad to say that with my eyes closed, it tastes like a very fizzy american lager.
