COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Cloudy amber color, fine head. Yeasy nose. Relatively dry, tinny, faintly bitter. Big spritz. Very weak tastes.

Great version of an Amber. Interesting taste, not too bitter, not too dry. Great balance, good head.

Very much like a lighter, dryer version of my favorite Van Steenberge, Piraat. Well balanced and delicious.

This is a good Belgian red. For me, its degree of sourness was much more tolerable than Rodenbach Grand Cru.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2004 cloudy red-amber colour, big creamy head, estery nose with some earthy notes, overcarbonated, acidic and medium-bodied, very tart with a dry and sourish finish
