3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ungstrup (26254) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2003
The color of this beer is amber and it has a beutiful caramel colored head. The aroma is slightly sweet, fruity, and fresh. The flavor is sweet, malty, and yeasty and rolls over the tongue with lemon and coriander notes. It turns in the end - and all the flavor with all of its complexity lingers a long time. It has a great palate for a beer thats "only" 5.2% ABV.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 8, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Amber golden with a small off-white head. Malty nose, and some roasted malt throughout. No real sweetness though. Not really what you would expect from Van Steenberge, but then again of course they would also have a "Speciale" type in their impressive portfolio. Pleasant if not exactly thrilling. 260798
