COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

The color of this beer is amber and it has a beutiful caramel colored head. The aroma is slightly sweet, fruity, and fresh. The flavor is sweet, malty, and yeasty and rolls over the tongue with lemon and coriander notes. It turns in the end - and all the flavor with all of its complexity lingers a long time. It has a great palate for a beer thats "only" 5.2% ABV.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber golden with a small off-white head. Malty nose, and some roasted malt throughout. No real sweetness though. Not really what you would expect from Van Steenberge, but then again of course they would also have a "Speciale" type in their impressive portfolio. Pleasant if not exactly thrilling. 260798

Bottled. Amber colour with mediumsized off-white head, which turns small quite fast. The small head last for long, along with the lace on the glass. Flavour is flowery hops, some breadyness and yeast. Vegetablyness dominates the finish and also aftertaste. very watery, and not too pleasant.

Light amber color. Light aroma, corky (it is a corked Magnum bottle). Very dry mouthfeel, quite poor.

Clear amber with medium white head. Sweet aroma with caramel and brewing cereal notes. Same goes for the somewhat sweet flavor.
