Pours a clear medium orange gold with a miniscule amount of white head. Aroma is extremely sweet of caramel and butterscotch. Flavor is sweet, but then a bitter dry finish. Overall, very very lousy beer for the price.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2007 11.2 oz bottle from BevMo: Deep orange-amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is malty and bready. Flavor starts fruity followed by caramel and a lightly bitter slightly dry orange rind finish. Medium body is smooth with lively carbonation.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 ApisAles (1226) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - FEB 26, 2009
Pours a clear amber with a nice white head. Aroma was malt and corn? Kind of a wierd mash up. Flavor was off. Very much on the vinegar sde of sour but with enough malt hiding in the back to save it a little. Not a good beer.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 haddon90 (1225) - Tustin, California, USA - FEB 19, 2004
An interesting ale. On tap at the Sunspot Cafe in Knoxville, TN. Nice light brownish colored pour with a decent head. Interesting taste. Malty aroma. Kind of sour, yet sweet as well. Sharp bite as well. Decent ale indeed!
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Kåstå (1221) - Mol, BELGIUM - SEP 10, 2002
Light amber with a medium creamy head. Weak aroma, but some sweet maltyness is detectable. The taste lasts half a second, it is not a bad taste, just way too short.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jimmack (1221) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - SEP 12, 2004
Dark amber color with a medium size
off white head. Yeasty aroma. Flavor
of malt at first, then gives way to a spicy, yeasty, somewhat tart finish.
Metallic aftertaste. Not sure if this was
a bad bottle or not, I hope so.
1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20 luckygirl (1221) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2007
Bottled. Beer is hazy, medium oxidized caramel brown with a large, off-white, frothy, mostly and rapidly diminishing head. Chunky lacing.
Smells horribly flawed. Malty with a light note of caramel; Hoppy with a trace of lemon zest; Otherwise it’s a pure diacetyl bomb. I can smell it from the table before I even touch the glass it’s so bad.
Moderately sweet, lightly acidic/juicy sour with a short, trace acidic and sweet very dirty finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rougeau13 (1216) - Texas, USA - MAY 12, 2011
Pours clear copper with a quickly dissipating moderate off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toast, caramel and a bit of yeast. The flavor is sweet and bready malt, and not that great. Light hop bitterness. Medium bodied, but somehow watery seeming. I’m glad this is just one of a variety pack.
