COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Nice toasty caramel malt notes in the nose, soft esters in the background invite you to take a taste, unfortunately the wet cardboard/paper notes scream of oxidation and a sharp tart off-flavors are reminescent of spoilage. I would like to taste this again as it showed promise as being a enjoyable belgian and if a fresher sample came way it would probably deem a higher rating.
