COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

11.2 oz bottle from the global beer network sampler pack. $15 for 6 beers. light feel. very carbinated. definately bitter. slight citrus, short aftertaste, refreshing.

Something very vegetal in the aroma. That and must make up the rest of the nose. Pours a clear amber with tan head. Metallic and watery, with notes of sour spinach and broccoli. Flavor has a strange oily aftertaste too. Not drainpour, not something I’d buy again.

Pours a clear amber with a small ring left after a small head. Sweet metallic with a bit of berry. one dimensional, drinkable, but not very exciting.

Pours a clear copper with a medium white head which recedes quickly. Aroma is pretty dull, metallic, cardboardy, with a little hop way in the back. Flavor is again a roll of dimes, just the slightest hint of malt under the metal. Light, crisp mouthfeel, good carbonation. Drinkable, but not much more to get excited about above that. Overall, fair to good.

Pours a clear orange with nearly no head and no lacing. Tinny sweet aroma, grapefruit? Meh. Herbal astringent malting, bland aftertaste, lightly oxidized. Thin body with ok carb. Why bother?

Clear copper color, moderate soapy head. Strange aroma - something bitter or rusty that I can’t put my thumb on. But that doesn’t translate into the taste. Light, crisp, and not too hoppy. Nice, and I’d have another, but nothing that blows me away.

Amber, lasting white head. Fine scarce bead.Astringent light malt profile, lasting but mild hop finish.

Hmmmm, amberish/gold pour. yeast and honey in the nose. Flavor is yeasty, malty and bread with a light hop note.
