COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Pours a dark hazy orange/brown sort of color. Lots of foam on top. Aroma is somewhat yeasy and grainy. A little bit of a fruity aroma. I think somw spice as well. Flavor is bitter and a little grainy. Some fruitiness as well. A little lacking in the flavor department. Easy to down, but not memorable.

Murky orange in colour. Malty, light caramel aroma. Flavour is slightly sweet and hoppy. Finishes slightly bitter and light. Really simple.

Bottled. Pours a clear amber with a lacy cream-colored head. The body is medium with medium carbonation. Corriander, toffee and fruit in the nose. The taste is caramel and fruit with a bit of corriander and cloves in the in the ever-so-slightly bitter finish. No out standing characteristics, but no problems either. This would be a hugely sessionable beer.

From a small bottle, poured a burnt orange-copper body with a small fizzy white head. Sweet, chalky aroma of maltiness. Brown sugar and sweet fruit nectar finish. Not spectacular, but not bad either.

Bottle. Limpid amber body with average carbonation and a thin beige frothy head. Unbalanced malty aroma with strong bready notes. Light and boring malty/hoppy taste that carries unpleasant metellic hints. It ends with a very short dry finish. Disappointing...

Bottle Conditioned. Yellow, huge carbonation - foam went everywhere. Light in comparison to the Augustijn which I sampled on the same evening. Pretty unreamarkable.

Ruby amber with a white head. Medium bodied. Mild fruity nutty aroma. Nutty sweet malts with a yeasty twist.

Pours amber with a short lived whitish head. Smell is fresh light and bright smelling malt with some estery yeast. Taste is yeasty, fruity and malty. Clean flavors with banana. Crisp refreshing mouthfeel with a medium body. Light balancing hop flavor in finish. Pretty decent.
