3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SDalkoholic (1486) - Chula Vista, California, USA - DEC 9, 2004
OOps i poured this little to fast and now theres a huge fluffy head that aint going away. Amber hue, and a soft but delicious aroma. Flavor was a jolt to the taste buds of tart unripe fruits and mild bitterness. Sense some gold or green apple peelings, along with pear and grape. All of which are fresh and unripe so it has that sour taste there. Still a enjoyable ale no matter the country it sets a strong standard.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pintbypint (1479) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 5, 2004
330ml brown bottle.Aromas of fruit(pear, lemon), honey and iron. Clear amber, off white head is long lasting and solid. Malt and caramel start, fruity-hoppy middle and bitter hop finish. Seems a bit too carbonated, but enjoyable nonetheless.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rocbyter (1473) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - MAY 26, 2007
The bottle says amber ale on it but when poured its a cloudy golden color (lost in translation). Strong apple aroma. Large head that diminishes quickly. Dry apple taste. A very interesting beer.

11.2 oz capped bottle: huge flowing, mash potato like head above a cloudy orange brown body. Chewy, banana/coriander aroma with lemon zest, crusty bread, and yeast. Bitter oranges offer a decent start, but the lack of any real malt and a dry, distant finish don't sit well with me. . .
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 wlajwl (1472) - Iowa, USA - FEB 18, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2012 In all honesty it tastes a lot, too much so, like a regular American Amber Ale, although not as sweet. Not bad overall, not really great, just a little better than an AAA.

Amber color, cloudy, full and firm tan head. Mildly spicy, some yeast, banana, and some pear. Medium bodied. Not very distinctive in any way but OK.
