COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Light copper in color. No real sweetness, in fact a tad sour. no real hop taste also. Fizzes a little, but no head retention. Not bad at all, but not compelling me to have another.

The one I tasted was not good at all. But I have a secund chance, one of this days I drink with some friend a large bottle of this beer.

Deep pale amber, bit puffy white head. Nice nose, sugary and peachy, a bit Chardonnay-esque. Nice flavor, a bit sour and bitter, nice fruity undertone. Quite perfumed. Flavor dies off at the end.

Orangish amber with a giant well carbonated head. Fruity aroma is followed by tastes of yeast and overripe fruit. A slight metallica taste detracted from the overall enjoyment. Overall, not too bad, but there are many better Begians out there.

Bottle Conditioned. Yellow, huge carbonation - foam went everywhere. Light in comparison to the Augustijn which I sampled on the same evening. Pretty unreamarkable.

Pretty basic, although I feel this is under rated. Nice light murky color and a billowing head. Too bad it gave off a weak aroma. Another day, another rating.

Talk about carbonation! As soon as the cap was lifted it went all over my counter top. I had to pour it in a glass to mellow the fizz. However it was a very good ale with a rich flavor, slight bitterness. Overall very good.

Golden brown, huge head, good lacing. Fruity, perfume, yeasty. Very carbonated; clean crisp finish - very light on the tongue.
