COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Tasted in Toronto from LCBO. Rust, orange colour, large cumulous head - sustained well in the glass. Very light aroma / scent. Very difficult to tell - hmmm possibly some spice and malt. Little or no hop balance. Slight 'soapy' scent. Taste is very spicy and well hopped. Interesting I couldn't pick this up in the scent - slight bitter finish, clean.

Coppery orange with a HUGE white head - really a nice looking beer. Clean, crisp malt aroma. Citrusy foamy woodsy and maybe a little mustytasting, Long, earthy finish, that is crisp and peppary.

Nice & Toasty. Sweetish citrus aroma. Medium brownish color but relatively clear. Not really my favorite style of beer but very good nonetheless.

A very light amber with good body. Better than most American ales but can’t hold up to the other offerings by Brouwerij Van Steenberge. Or robocop.

HUGE sudsy head lasts forever! Aroma of sour apples, sweet yeast. Tastes fizzy, carbonated, and dry. Not the greatest belgian ale I've tried, but still quite nice.

Oily residue in the finish. Straw color, white head. Nice lacing. Nice hop balance. On the acidic (phenol) side for a Belgian.

Pours a hazy brown with large amounts of white head. High levels of carbonation throughout the beer. Musty nose of caramel and fruit. Slightly bitter flavors of fruit and sweet malt. Mouthfeel is a bit light and very bubbly. Nothing to get overly excited about, but nice.

330ml bottle - Pours amber with a short white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Flavor is of sugar and caramel with a sour aftertaste that I found rather annoying. On the palate this is light and watery. This one was nothing more than average.
