COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

This beer was poured into a snifter with no head at all. There was a strong nutty smell to it and it has an amber color to it. It tastes like an almond nutty beer very good though.

Pours dark amber. Decent carbonation that goes down smooth, very pleasant malty taste with strange but not offensive cold metallic favor in the finish. I nice choice if you dont want a Belgian Ale with 9+ %

Tap. Golden coloured, head should be a bit bigger, to cold served. Yeasty, watery, ok hopped, should’ve gotten a boost for sure. Mostly yeast.

(Bottle) Authentic Belgian taste and style in this mild Amber Ale. Lots of malt balanced with a light hop flavor. Enjoyable and only moderatly alcoholic. Very easy to drink more than one. This could be an easy introduction to the Belgian flavored Ale.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Appearance is a translucent amber with a long lasting white head of foam. Aroma is malty and very footlike. Taste is malty. Solid beer.

(Bottle into tulip) Got this one as part of a 6 pack sampler from Brouwerij Van Steenberge. Poured a clear orange with a large white head that fell rather quickly. On the nose, you would think that this would be a very sweet beer, as the malt was heavy and there was a pleasant aroma that reminded me of raisins or dates. The taste, however, was rather sharp, and not really what I expected. There was a nice bite to it, and a little more of a bitter flavor, not near the sweetness of the nose, but not overpowering either. This was a nice crisp, refreshing offering and paired well with the spice I was having at the time.

11.2 oz Bottle - Tasting at home last weekend. Not a bad belgian amber ale, but nothing really special. This was the sixth of a six pack of different Belgian beers that my fiancee bought for my birthday. Still good, but my least favorite of the lot.
