11.2 oz. / 330 ml. brown Belgian stubbie bottle. Cryptic date code on the back label, and that’s about it for a freshness date. Part of a Belgian six pack sampler I got at Rips. Poured out a dark caramel color, with a decent, but short lived white head. The head slid back to a decent matting of lacing floating on top of the beer. Thick aromas of malts along with the spicy Belgian yeast makes for a delicious experience. This is a decent beer, even though the ABV is lower than it’s bigger brothers. The tastes are definitely there, and leave you wanting more. More than decent in my book.

Clear amber color with modest head. Carmel malt aroma and taste. After-taste was very minor hop bitterness, and a touch of alcohol.

bottle - Pours light amber-gold with some slight haze and a moderate sized, fizzy head. It has a mild aroma of malt and Belgian yeast. The first thing that struck me as I started drinking this one is that it’s simply too thin. The flavor has a good balance of malt sweetness and bittering hops that finishes a little dry. Not bad, but there are numerous better Belgian ales around.

Bottle @ Maria tasting. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel. Flavour is sweet, caramel, hop. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Clear light to medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, bread, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120408)

Amber colour with a slightly off-white head. Aroma of light sweet apple cider. Flavor is light sweet paper and caramel. Boring ale from Steenberge.

Bottle from Beer Mania. Nice amber body with huge head. Nose of chocolate and malts. Taste of caramel, wheat, toffee and lots of hops. Really nice. Not a particularly dense or complicated brew but goes down well.

light brown appearance that is very thin looking with a slight head. the flavor is lacking with a bitter slightly malty flavor. no flavor takes the forefront and it is not a good beer at all
